CURSOR POSITIONING BY DOTS

     LEGEND: Ec = [Ctrl] [P] [Esc] in DOS EDIT

DEFINITION

     Note the difference in using row and column cursor
     positioning verses using dot cursor positioning. When
     cursor positioning by rows, the cursor moves to the
     baseline of the first row; when cursor positioning by
     dots, the cursor moves to the absolute point 0,0.


CURSOR POSITIONING BY DOTS

                                   lines.

     Ec&a15L                       Sets a left margin of 15
                                   columns.

     Ec*p0y0X                      Cursor position to dot
                                   position zero,zero.

     Ec(10U                        Selects the PC-8 symbol
                                   set.

     Ec(s1p24v0s0b4101T            Selects a proportional,
                                   24 point, upright,
                                   medium, CG Times font.

     This Is A Test                Will print "This Is A
                                   Test"
