Hello Richard, I get the error with your tetris game (SAS 8.1), is there something I can do to fix it? NOTE: SYNC performed on GAMES.TETRIS.PLAY.FRAME. Hello Richard , I get the following message when I try to strt your tetris game , Is there something i can do to fix it. ERROR: _SELF_ cannot be initialized with type WORK.TETRIS.FIELD. This could be because this class references the method implementations in GAMES.TETRIS.FIELDCLASS.SCL where _SELF_ has type GAMES.TETRIS.FIELD.CLASS. Since GAMES.TETRIS.FIELD.CLASS is not an ancestor of WORK.TETRIS.FIELD, this is a violation of the normal class method lookup. To correct the problem, create a separate USECLASS scl entry for WORK.TETRIS.FIELD or change its name to GAMES.TETRIS.FIELD.CLASS. It may also be possible to use the CATNAME statement or catalog concatenation to resolve this problem. *** Line 8: [ERROR: #114] Calling function INSTANCE. Cool program. I wouldn't have thought you could do something like this in AF. Also, many compliments on your website. I've used some of your examples in my projects (particularly your dll examples) and it has saved me a ton of work. Thanks for all your efforts!
