Title: 8 teams of 3, 2 courts, 2 have a bye

Good evening!

I'm trying to organize a volleyball tournament where I have 8 teams of pairs.  These teams will be put into a trio of teams, to play against another trio of teams, with 2 teams ref'ing/scoring.  I'd like to have each team play with each other at least once, but they must sit off twice each.  I'm not entirely sure if it's possible?  
Essentially I'd have the following, but with an even distribution

Court 1, Court 2, Off
1-2-3, 4-5-6, 7-8  
2-3-4, 5-6-7, 8-1
3-4-5, 6-7-8, 1-2
4-5-6, 7-8-1, 2-3
5-6-7, 8-1-2, 3-4
6-7-8, 1-2-3, 4-5
7-8-1, 2-3-4, 5-6
8-1-2, 3-4-5, 6-7

Any assistance would be appreciated!

I think the 8 rounds here will give you something suitable. Team 9 is the ghost and the two teams that play the ghost in any round are the two that keep score.
