Title: 8 players, 4 Players per game

Hi All very amature question but:

Running a Magic tournament with 8 players. 4 players per game where 2 games need to be run at the same time.  No maximum rounds but we need to have everyone play each other at least once with a way of having a clear scoreboard if possible. Any help would be great  :)

Here are some possible solutions.  Essentially there is not a good solution unless you can have 7 rounds.

4 rounds
5 rounds
or perhaps you can consider playing 2 games of three and one game of two

Balanced solution in 7 rounds where all pairs of players meet exactly three times each.  see Table 1 where the 8 players are represented by 0 to 7.
