Title: mixed doubles with dbls partners changing
Post by: John Fournier(Guest) on February 22, 2016, 12:04:28 PM
Thanks so much for all your help. It's great to have a site like yours available to all.

I organize a free mixed doubles round robin of 2 or 3 courts (8 to 12 players) for three rounds of play.
I haven't been able to figure a good system where partners change during each round.
Any thoughts out there?

Thanks again,
John

John,

I have had to move your message here to reply.  You will need to register if you wish to reply here.

I would start with the spouse avoiding schedules - for example see the 8 and 10 player schedules here.  For 10 players you will have to drop the last two rounds, and of course you will not be able to give everyone the same number of games unless you let the 2 players with a bye play singles on the third court.

I am still thinking about 12 players.
