Title: Play each opponent twice but with a different partner

I’m very familiar with the Jim Bjerring series of tournaments. The schedule is such that each individual plays with someone once and against everyone twice. However, there are fixed numbers of people published online that it works with. Can this be done with 10 people playing 2 courts at once? There is a schedule available of 10 people playing on 1 court; only 4 people playing at once. But I’m curious if it is possible to be done with 8 playing at a time.

Some numbers of players such as 10, or more generally 4n+2, or 4n+3 players where n>=1 are difficult to schedule doubles for.  The fact that there are an odd number of possible partnerships, when each game involves 2 partnerships, means that a perfect all-partners-all schedule is not possible, since any schedule must involve an even number of partnerships.
