Title: 13 Team - Round Robin

Hi all,

Planning an outdoor beer olympics.  I have 13 teams.  6 events.  I want every team to play each other once.  And each event twice.  The math tells me this is possible, but I can't seem to figure out the formula so teams don't play each event more than twice.  There will be 1 bye every round.  I've searched and can't find a solution.

Anyone have luck with this?

What you are describing is the standard balanced tournament design for 13 teams.  There is an example on the Wiseman web site (http://www.jdawiseman.com/papers/tournaments/all-play-all/apa_13.html) that should work.
