Brilliant forum guys, I'm well impressed. Had a look around for the answer to my problem but couldn't find anything similar so hopefully you can still help out.
I'm currently trying to schedule a round robin programme of fixtures for a bowling clubs pool league with ten teams involved. Two of the clubs both have an A and B team, so if A is home then B must be away. The only problem is that the A and B teams from each club must play each other at week 1 of the fixtures.
I do have a set of fixtures for a twelve team league that follow this example and has 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 all playing each other at week 1 and then always playing home and away from each other but cannot make it work for ten teams. Thanks in advance for any help.

I am not certain, but my gut feeling is that this may be impossible for 10 teams.
If I use my Excel generator here, then I can produce the schedule attached (green for home matches, away matches yellow). So teams A & B can be the first pair and they do play in week 1, the second pair would have to be teams G & H, but they don't get to play together until week 2.

Thanks for the reply Ian. I have managed to get 1-2, 9-10 playing in the first week and then playing home/away from each other for the remainder. Not perfect though as one team(4) plays three away games in a row. I'll keep working on it though.
I'll be sure to visit the site any other times I need fixture generators though.
Here is what I conjured up.
Week 1- 1v2 3v4 5v6 7v8 9v10
Week 2- 2v3 4v1 7v9 8v5 10v6
Week 3- 6v2 3v7 1v10 4v5 9v8
Week 4- 6v3 7v1 2v4 10v8 5v9
Week 5- 2v10 3v5 8v1 9v4 7v6
Week 6- 5v2 8v3 6v4 10v7 1v9
Week 7- 2v8 3v9 6v1 4v7 10v5
Week 8- 4v10 7v5 1v3 8v6 9v2
Week 9- 2v7 10v3 5v1 4v8 6v9
There is no rhyme or reason to them.lol

You might want to check out an earlier thread. If there are an even number of teams, each team will have a complement and will not both be home until they play each other.
