Title: golf trip

I have 10 players playing 4 rounds of golf. would like format where players play with the most different players, 1 foursome and 2 threesome each day.  anyone help?   thx

Peter,

I don't think there are any good solutions to this problem.

If you start with this 4 round threesome schedule for the 9 players A-I then I think the best you can do is to add the 10th player 'J' to one threesome in each round.  Strangely, the most balanced way of doing this is to always add J to the first threesome, so all pairs meet exactly once apart from the pair FJ who meet 4 times (always in the foursome).
