Round Robin Tournament Scheduling

I'm scheduling a doubles tennis league with 10 players, each playing with a different partner each week, and 2 courts per night. Two people per week will have to have a bye. Does this mean I would need 20 weeks to get all possibilities in? Is there any way to get all done in 10 weeks?

There is no balanced schedule for 10 doubles players, so the only way forward is to decide what features of the scheduling are important, and then focus only on that. For example this schedule is as close as it is possible to come to having everyone partner each other exactly once, but it involves 11 weeks and compromises on the opponent balance.
