Bridge group shedule

I need to schedule a Bridge group that meet in individual homes once a month for eight month.  We have 24 couples, we have 4 couple per home with six homes per month.  I am atten\\mpting to schedule so that each couple plays in a group of four without repeating a couple they have played with already.  I know in eight months there will be repeats but want to keep repeates to a minimum. :-/

Am I right to think that when 4 couples meet at a home that they all play each other, so everyone gets three matches per meeting?

Have a look at this schedule for 7 rounds.  For the 8th round you could assign 6 of the 8 triples (see the footnote) to the 6 homes, then break up the last two triples and add one couple each to the 6 homes.  There will still be 6 out of the 276 possible matches that have not been played, but it may not be possible to do any better than this.
