round robin tournament

I'm running a 24 team round robin volleyball tournament with 8 courts.  I want to put three teams at a court and each team will play each other.  Then the next day they will be in a new group of three and so on and so on.  I want this to end up were they play each other one time.  Can this be done?  If so, could you please send me a schedule of what it would look like.  Thank you so much!

A perfect solution is not possible. However...

Have a look at this web page on the Social Golfer Problem,  there about half-way down is a 10 day schedule for 24 golfers playing in threesomes.  I think this could be a workable solution for you as each threesome becomes the three teams that are assigned to each court and who all play each other.  The only issue is that you would have to put four teams on a court for the last day, meaning each team would have to play 6 games in the final round.  Alternatively you could run the last round twice, but play only 3 out of the 6 games on each occaison.
