I have organised a schools rugby tournament. There are 6 Groups, 5 of which have 5 teams in and the last group has 6 teams. I really need to know how to equate the total match points for each team for a knockout stage.
The 6th team group teams will have an extra opportunity to amass more match points. How can I overcome this problem? I used to just give all the other teams a bye win, but this may not prove very fair.
I would really appreciate anybodys help at your earliest convenience.
