I need help setting up a tournament. I am not sure whether to use a double elimination bracket tourny or a round robin. We are doing bocce ball in and indoor bocce hall. We have two courts. We have 8 teams. we have 3 hours. I would prefer that everyone gets to play at least twice. Can you help?

You didn't say how long the typical game lasts.  For eight teams a single round robin requires seven rounds, but since you only have two courts you would need 14 "rounds" since half your field will be waiting all the time.  The time to play one round is just under 13 minutes and that includes the time for the teams and officials to rotate on and off the field.

Double elimination is probably your best bet.

You're welcome.  Good luck with the tournament.
