I need to make a schedule for an 11 team round robin tournament that features 10 different locations. Each team will have to play each game once and all games will happen simultaneously so I cannot have a location be used twice in any round.

11 teams
10 locations

Thanks

If the teams are A to K and with rows as rounds, then you could use the following schedule:

 L1    L2    L3    L4    L5    L6    L7    L8    L9    L10  Bye
(A K) (D F) (C J) (B I) (E H) (---) (---) (---) (---) (---)  G
(D H) (G E) (---) (K J) (F I) (---) (B C) (---) (---) (---)  A
(B G) (---) (H K) (---) (---) (F J) (---) (A C) (---) (I D)  E
(---) (K C) (B F) (---) (D J) (H G) (---) (---) (---) (E A)  I
(---) (---) (---) (---) (H C) (---) (I A) (B E) (G J) (F K)  D
(E I) (B J) (---) (A G) (---) (---) (H F) (K D) (---) (---)  C
(---) (I H) (D A) (---) (---) (E C) (---) (F G) (B K) (---)  J
(F C) (---) (E J) (---) (---) (K I) (G D) (---) (A H) (---)  B
(---) (---) (G I) (D C) (A B) (---) (K E) (---) (---) (H J)  F
(---) (A F) (---) (H B) (---) (---) (---) (I J) (E D) (G C)  K
(A J) (---) (---) (F E) (G K) (D B) (---) (---) (I C) (---)  H

It is impossible to spread 55 games evenly over 10 locations, so there are 6 games at each of the first 5 locations, and only 5 games at each of the last 5 locations.  This limits the location balance that it is possible to have, since for the first 5 venues one team must play twice.  The teams that play twice at a location are A,B,F,J & H and it means they can only visit 9 locations in total, while the other teams C,D,E,G,I & K visit all 10 locations.

Hope that helps.
