Looking for Formula or Set up for 40 players/10 table/6 games for Euchre Tourney

Hello!
I am looking for a formula or rotation schedule for a Euchre Tournament for 40 players at 10 tables with only 6 games being played. 
I belong to a group with over 250 members and we normally get 44 or less players each time we meet. I have done a rotation for all 44 players, but my brain is on overdrive trying to come up with every scenario from 40 on down, including the odd number and sit outs.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

There is an old thread on this forum that should help. Specifically you want reply #10, and then take any 6 of the 13 rounds from the 1st schedule.  The earlier postings in the same thread discuss 44 players which might also be of use.
