12 and 16 player tennis round robins with 7 rounds

1) Could you suggest a round robin schedule for 12 players (doubles) in 7 rounds?  I'd like each player to have a new partner each round, and to face every other player as an opponent either once or twice. Basically, I am looking for a schedule very close to the 8-round one in Ian's last reply from this thread:

2) Could you also suggest a 16-player schedule for 7 rounds with similar constraints (i.e. new partners each round, and maximizing the number of unique opponents faced) ?

  (10  2 v 11  7) ( 6  1 v  3  9) (12  8 v  5  4)
  ( 4  3 v  9  7) ( 5  8 v  1 10) ( 2 11 v 12  6)
  ( 1  9 v  5  2) (11  3 v  8  7) ( 4 12 v 10  6)
  ( 7  1 v 12 10) ( 3  2 v  8  4) (11  6 v  5  9)
  ( 6  5 v  4  7) (11 12 v  3  1) ( 9  2 v  8 10)
  ( 2  4 v 11  1) ( 8  9 v 12  7) ( 3  6 v 10  5)
  ( 9 10 v 11  4) ( 7  6 v  1  8) ( 2 12 v  3  5)

I am still thinking about 16 players.  You could use the spouse avoiding schedule here, however everyone would have one player whom they never meet.  Ideally it should be possible to find a schedule where all pairs of players meet at least once, either as partners or opponents.

Here is a 16 player schedule.  It's not quite perfect since pairs (5,16) & (6,15) meet twice as opponents, all other pairs who meet twice do so once as partners and once as opponents.
