I used your cyclic solution to round robin scheduling. It was very easy to implement in software. Thank you for posting it. It was good to see that I wasn't alone in my search for a good scheduling solution. My application was to schedule "M" golf teams to play each other "N" times during a season. The problem I'm having now is optimizing the Tee times so that each team gets an equal (or close to equal) opportunity to play the 1st, 2nd, and nth tee times during the course of the season. I haven't seen anyone ask about this in the feedback. Have you or anyone else given it any thought?
