Hi, I just found this website & it looks to be very helpful. We run a charity euchre party every year. This year it has gotten so big that I need some help with the scheduling. My problem is that we have 48 confirmed players which is perfect. However, it happens every year, someone doesnt show up, gets sick or brings a friend or two and then we have uneven #'s. I'd like to have options for 44, 48 & 52 people so I dont have to panic!! If I have uneven #'s, usually two people will team up as a pair and alternate games.

Our party is simple. We plays 10 games of euchre & set a timer for 20 minutes. You score as many points as you can in 20 minutes. No duplicate partners & to have everyone play at random tables. Is this someone that anyone can help me with?!?!

Thanks,
Scott

Richard's suggestion will work, you can take 10 rounds from any of these larger bridge schedules and all the partnerships will be different, but you will find that some pairs of players will oppose twice.  It is possible to do better by arranging that no pair of players sit together at a table more than once, then all partners and all opponents are different people, and the euchre party will have optimal social mixing.  There are links to schedules for 40, 44 or 48 players here.  52 players is a special number to have as 17 rounds of play are possible, where a player's 17 partners and 34 opponents are all different - in other words they meet everyone else at a table exactly once.  I have given the schedule below (and also as an Excel attachment), if you only want 10 rounds then simply discard any 7 of the blocks of 13 tables below, however it might be nice to play the full schedule  which you could do if you reduced the round time to 12 minutes.  Of course, as no pair sit together more than once, it doesn't matter how you assign the 4 players at a table to be partners and opponents.
