I was wondering if you can help me

I want to run a round robin tennis comp. with 16 players playing in pools of 4
So 1st night players 1,2,3 and 4 will all play each other, 5,6,7,8 play each other and so on
On the 2nd night the pools will be rearranges
There will be 5 rounds as each player plays 3 of their 15 opponents each night
I can only get to 3 rounds, in the 4th round I can not get 4 pools of players that haven't all played each other before

Any help would be greatley appreciated

Use the large table at the bottom of this message board thread.  If you number the players 0 to 15, then the first 5 rows labelled 'Part. 0' become pool assignments for the 5 nights of the tournament. If subsequently the round-robin is repeated with the same 16 players, then use a different partition each time from the 7 available, this will make sure that no subset of 3 players ever meet together in a pool more than once.
