I have a request similar to a previous post (by suem on 8/14/15).  A pool of 13 teams that will ideally play 8 times each over the course of 3 days.  Most teams should play 3 matches on days 1 and 2, and 2 matches on day 3, with the obvious exception that someone will have to play 4 matches on day 1. There are 4 courts with 6 time slots per day, and we need 3 teams assigned to each time slot (2 playing teams and 1 working team).  If possible, teams should not be used more than 3 time slots in a row and never more than 4 time slots in a row.

If anyone could help with a setup for this type of pool, I would greatly appreciate it!  Thanks!!

The software I used for suem's schedule does not have the ability to balance the working teams - but starting with the schedule below, you should be able to assign these without too many problems (read off the byes by looking for the zeros in the 2nd table below).  Team M has the short straw, they play 4 times on day 1 and only twice on day 2. There are 7 incidences where a team plays back-to-back games, nobody plays three or more times back-to-back.  Teams should play exactly twice at each venue. Hope that helps.
