Hi Ian,

Can you help me how to use your excel file to generate fixed berger pairing like - round 1 - 1 vs.6, 2 vs. 5, 3vs4: Round 2 6:4,5:3,1:2 etc.

The generator is set up to make balanced schedules where players occur equally often on each court, and so it will never produce a 1st round in standard order as in your example.

The cyclic schedules here may be what you are looking for, or you could use Warren's generator here to get Berger like tables (use the Porter option).

Hope that helps.

Hi Ian,

Thank you for fast replay, Porter option is exactly what I need but question is there any way this to be incorporated in Excel spreadsheet in same way like your random generator in excel file or is very difficult ?

I have got no plans to add this as a feature to the generator.  Actually the calculation is not that hard, it should be possible to do it with Excel cell formulas.  Are you interested in seeing that?
