I have a roster of 11 guys and we have one tennis court on which we play doubles. We all play with each other and against each other. How can I play everybody equally over a 32 week schedule?

Thanks for helping me out with this one

Hi, What happens on a match day?  Is there just one doubles game involving 4 guys?

We play three sets of doubles where we rotate partners after each set.

So the three sets of doubles all involve the same 4 guys?

That is correct. Now my problem is how do I set up a schedule that plays all the guys equally over the 32 dates of the contract, ensuring that each person plays everybody roughly the same number of times.

It would be much better to have 33 match days, as then each guy would play on exactly 12 match days.  In other words, if you don't have a multiple of 11 match days then some guys will have more play than others.  I have put a 33 day solution below, where any two guys are scheduled to meet either 3 or 4 times.

(9 2 4 11)
(7 10 8 6)
(11 1 3 5)
(6 11 10 2)
(4 3 5 8)
(2 7 1 9)
(3 11 6 4)
(9 8 4 7)
(2 10 1 5)
(3 11 7 9)
(10 9 6 5)
(1 2 8 4)
(7 6 10 3)
(4 1 7 9)
(5 8 11 2)
(1 3 4 10)
(8 9 2 6)
(11 5 6 7)
(8 10 9 3)
(5 7 2 1)
(4 1 11 6)
(7 5 8 3)
(11 9 10 1)
(6 2 5 4)
(10 8 1 11)
(6 3 9 2)
(10 4 5 7)
(1 6 3 8)
(3 7 2 11)
(5 4 9 10)
(8 6 7 1)
(9 5 11 8)
(2 4 3 10)

Either leave out the last round, or perhaps have one week with two match days?
