mixed round robin for 8 players, 2 groups, 2 courts, 4 rounds

I'm trying to figure out the most balanced pairings for mixed doubles with 8 players rotating on 2 courts for only 4 rounds. For example, players 1,2,3,4 pair with 5,6,7,8 in the best combination of equal and most balanced pairings and opposing's.

I think I have a decent pattern for the first 3 rounds but I'm tracking the permutations manually and the 4th round doesn't seem right.

There is no good 4 round schedule here, and I am guessing what you have found for 3 rounds is equivalent to the schedule in reply#1 here.  It is possible to have more balanced pairings, however the 8 games must be played sequentially as they can not be resolved into 4 rounds of 2 games.
