Hi Anita,
From
Casey's comments on October the 6th I also assume that it is important to consider court balance. Fortunately there are suitable schedules on Julian Wiseman's web site.
Anita's should have a look at this plan,
http://www.jdawiseman.com/papers/tournaments/all-play-all/apa_06on04.html
which would certainly be the best thing to do for the first 5 rounds of her tournament.
If as many as 20 rounds are needed, you could reuse the schedule but rotate the court assignments around one position for the next block of 5 rounds. So for rounds 6 to 10 the people that played previously on court 1 would be assigned to court 2, court 2 to 3, court 3 to 4 and finally court 4 to court 1. In this way every team would play the others teams once on each court over 20 rounds.
Casey could do something similar. So starting with this plan,
http://www.jdawiseman.com/papers/tournaments/all-play-all/apa_08.html
the court assignments could be rotated once to form rounds 8 to 14, and rotated again to form rounds 15 to 21. Then all teams would play 5 times on three of the courts and 6 times on the fourth. Here the 22nd round could be some sort of championship play off.
I hope that you find these suggestions useful,
Ian.
