I used the "Social Squares" section to help set up a schedule for a dinner rotation. There are 20 couples who dine together, in 5 groups of 4, for 4 months. For each dinner, one couple is responsible for hosting the dinner and providing the main course. Each of the other three couples brings a salad, a vegetable or a dessert. With the help of your information, I was able to establish a schedule so that no couple dined with another more than once in the rotation, and each couple was responsible for each type of dish only once.
I implemented the schedule in an Excel spreadsheet so that you type in the 20 couples' names and you can see the schedule fill in, with who dines with whom and what dish they are to bring. I'd be happy to share it with anyone interested.
