If there are 5 tables and 20 players then surely everyone is able to play at the same time - so there is no need for byes?  Would you describe the problem in some more detail please?  Thanks.

Actually we will have 24 euchre players, 5 tables, hopefully 10 rounds max, with each person getting at least 1 bye (or more if needed).

I can offer a solution with 6 rounds where every player receives exactly one bye.  All the 5 partners and 10 opponents that a player sits down together with are different.  I could do something similar for 12 rounds but that would be too many I think. Hope that helps.
