help with modified round robin

I have a youth basketball league that I am trying to build a game schedule for. I need to group the teams into groups of 3 at each facility with team A playing B then A playing C and finally B playing C for the first round.  In round two on (if possible) I can not have A B or C in the same group.  This way each team will only play all of the other teams once during the season. The number of teams ranges from 8-20 depending on the year.

A lot will depend on the actual number of teams.  The only time a perfect solution is possible is if the number of teams is 9 or 15,  you can find schedules here.   For 8 and 14 you could just delete one team from these schedules and live with the fact that one of the facilities each week would only have two teams that played one match.
